Busy busy

Category: Life

Between working on new commissions on ko-fi, and trying to keep my mental health in shipshape, I'm busy as hell. I am working on a large piece for a dear friend of mine over in South Carolina, I'm pretty proud of how far it's coming but it's something that I'd like to try to get mounted and secured for shipment to them directly instead of going through USPS. If anyone has suggestions on shipping s... » Continue Reading

Therapy Day: Aftermath

Category: Friends

I don't usually talk about my experiences with therapy but I've found myself an excellent therapist that has been more than kind, compassionate, and open minded with me about a lot of the issues I face and am confronting from my childhood and my adulthood trauma experiences. It's rough, and can be at times a completely spoon-stealing, soul-crushingly draining experience. I won't go into the person... » Continue Reading

Still rounding out old skills and artistic habits.

Category: Art and Photography

After the sale of a couple of my works, I decided to shop around for sketchbooks suitable for mixed media, and watercoloring paper blocks that are affordable with decent quality. I know that Fabre-Castell is good for a lot of my main supplies, but I've found Arteza to be pretty good as well. Do you have any recommendations for good quality artistic supplies such as notebooks, pads, paper blocks, a... » Continue Reading

I'll be damned...

Category: Art and Photography

I managed to actually get into my own art big time, and am starting to find a style that really fits for myself as an artist. I couldn't have even had the remotest iota of patience for this as a teen or even as a kid, but I seemed to have found my groove in my early 40's. How about that?  » Continue Reading

Frustrations

Category: Art and Photography

I've been trying to get back into practice with my sketching and painting again but it's going slowly cause of issues at home. My son doesn't sleep normal hours, and tends to stay up until 6am fighting with his father and I rather than just tucking it in and sleeping. We're trying several different methods to get him to sleep a normal schedule but it's rough, ya know? Anyway, I'll have some art up... » Continue Reading

Saw the Helping each other category open up and wanted to say something on that.

Category: Blogging

As a community, it's important that we recognize that we are all human beings. Each and everyone of us have feelings, lives that are different from each other, and different personalities and identity's to live with. While you may not understand one person reaching out for help, you will run into someone that seems to be willing and friendly enough to pass personal checks for possibly scammers and... » Continue Reading

Grief is not a linear process

Category: Friends

I was doing a gaming group online project last night when a very old and precious friend of mine sent me a DM on discord about his father. "He's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer..." My heart dropped and I could no longer read the screen clearly anymore. This friend and I have been in touch for more than 26 years, and I'd only met his father once, but the impression his father left me with was... » Continue Reading

Just saying, An? Thank you.

Category: SpaceHey

I noticed how fast suspended accounts are happening for bot accounts, and spammers. I just wanted to drop a quick thank you for the fast action and I hope that you find a way to prevent them from posting or signing up all together somehow. » Continue Reading

Starting a therapy garden at home for produce and more.

Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes

So, I've been a hobbyist with gardening for some time. But I've put together a wishlist of shit I need to get a real growing space secured and protected from animals, as well as supplies and seeds needed to really get the ball rolling on this project. It's a mix of a tea and produce garden, intended to provide herbs for tea making, witchy needs, as well as culinary use, in a 10 by 10 fenced in spa... » Continue Reading

Just a mum offering hugs and support to those that need it most.

Category: Life

I was born in the 1980s. I grew up seeing, listening, learning about and having a better understanding of sexuality and gender identity than my parents or grandparents ever did.  I just wanted to let anyone that really needs to hear it know. It does get easier. Healing takes ti » Continue Reading

About the spam on the site. (An active reporter blog)

Category: SpaceHey

I'm just another user, but I've been kind of help An with filtering out the bots, and repost spam from the layouts section of the site. I am not asking to get paid, or anything like that. I love the site and it's design and just want to ensure it stays a safe, ad-free experience for everyone. I'm just one user though. So I guess I'm asking fellow users to help out with reporting bot accounts, spam... » Continue Reading
