I'll be damned...

I managed to actually get into my own art big time, and am starting to find a style that really fits for myself as an artist. I couldn't have even had the remotest iota of patience for this as a teen or even as a kid, but I seemed to have found my groove in my early 40's. How about that?

A medallion with an orange runed ring with the elder futhark inscribed on it, and a norse styled dragon in the center of the medallion, surrounded by falling tongues of flame in autumn colors and a scattering of roses upon a cobalt blue field.

Thanks! This one took me about eight hours in total to complete, I'm pretty proud to say it's found a lovely home on the wall of my adopted grandfather on the west coast. :)
