I found a program that allows you to walk in VR! It's called Natural Locomotion. You can walk in-place to move. It works ok but it's harder to control your speed and walking backward is a bit difficult. I'll experiment with it. » Continue Reading
I don't like moving with the joystick in VR. A better way would be jogging with foot trackers. Jogging in place to move would be amazing and far more immersive. I know that people with extra trackers are uncommon but I would love the option to look where I want to go and walk in place there. I got in Light Arm Day. Thanks to my work out program being so polished at this point, jumping right in and finishing it was no issue. I only did 3 workouts but having an easy light day as the start of the exercise week is really motivating. Instead of being a slog. I did not do a very good job of going to failure. Got a good arm day in. The issues with my old program have been fixed. I lowered the amount of sets made the workout less daunting. I got it all finished, with a good pump, in about thirty minutes. I moved my exercise equipment to the living room. Now I have more room in my bedroom and a blank space has been filled that was bothering me. The calorie problem is an ongoing battle. Got leg day in. I edited my exercise plan a bit. I removed some things I didn't ever bother doing and lessened the amount of sets.
