Hello Internet! I need some advice on how I could start blogging more concerts. I want to post videos and a photo diary of the concerts I've been to. I'd do something like a Facebook album but don't really want my family seeing all of my videos lol. Don't like posting on Instagram feels over played and everyone be a lowkey hater/stalker. VSCO would be cool for photos but does suport video and TikT... » Continue Reading
It's been a minute since I've been on SpaceHey and I have been attending a bunch of shows from end of September to the end of October. Starting out with Fit for a King, The Devil Wears Prada, Counterparts, LANDMVRKS. This show was so fun I got crowdsurfed to Des Moines and Disconnect and cried to Whisper of Your Death. Plus I got to see some of my concert peeps! Parkway Drive, The Amit Afflictio... » Continue Reading
I'm just venting but I can't believe there aren't as many smaller shows this summer. I've got a ton of concerts lined up for September and October but none for the summer. My friends in STL seem like they're at one every week but all we get in Chicago is a bunch of amphitheater concerts which I'm not as interested in going to :/ maybe ill buy a day pass to riot fest this year or something but the ... » Continue Reading
I got into this nostalgic mood recently and started to want to get into some of the old hobbies and music from when I was growing up and some old tech came into my mind. Seeing my old iPhone from way back when just reminded me of all the good ole days and I ended up turning it into a throwback iPod with all my old music. Well I stumbled on another one that really threw me back all the way was this... » Continue Reading
Starting off the night strong with the longest line I've been in for a show since The Story So Far headlined at Radius, we waited about 30 minutes in line until we were let in. Sanguisugabogg was the opener, I've never heard of them before but they're a deathcore band. I was actually pretty shocked that they were the opener but they were a vibe. They got the pit going and definitely got everyone g... » Continue Reading
Nothing fucks me up more than NOT getting carded lately and I'm only 24. I don't know if the people I'm out with is the culprit or if its the fact that I am looking older now, but it is certainly a humbling experience when I do get carded now. I went to Bonchon with a friend and ordered soju so when we ask we had our ID's out for the waiter (he was like 19 at best) and he goes "huh yeah I mean fig... » Continue Reading
lol I had to make that the title. I went to Ohio for my cousin's med school graduation and was shocked at how nice the scenery looked. It's so comically funny that I'm writing a blog about my appreciation of the literal state of Ohio, but Columbus felt like a cool mix between what I'm used to in Illinois and like Pennsylvania (idk I've been to PA once and it was in Erie, PA coming home from Canada... » Continue Reading
So we start this night with a 2 hour drive to Bloomington. Not too bad but we were 5 deep in a Hyundai Elantra and I took the middle. Fast forward the boring drive through bumfuck no where Illinois, we get to Normal to get some food, off-roaded the Elantra to get some Starbucks, looked around Illinois State University, since that was nearby. We got to the venue in Bloomington, the line wasn't bad ... » Continue Reading
Starting the night off strong Spite was the opener. Would've been nice to see their full set, but like most of the people I talked to I hit traffic and was stuck on I-94. Kill or Be Killed and Crumble were the only two songs I got out of Spite, but they sounded as UGHHHHHHH as I remember since the last time I saw them in 2019. I found their setlist online and it's now one of my main rotating playl... » Continue Reading
Have you guys tried the new summer edition this year? I managed to find it at a 7/11 in Vancouver and its Juneberry flavored. It's supposed to be out in the states this month, but I haven't found it anywhere in Chicago yet, but it tasted pretty good! It's like a cotton candy flavor almost. Still prefer the Amber edition over it, but I definitely recommend it if you find it :) » Continue Reading
So I drove up to Vancouver from Portland for my trip this spring and it was awesome. The scenery made it great for a road trip up I-5 into Canada. We went to English Bay to see the water and explore downtown a bit. People were nice, but we a gas station worker thought we were stealing because we were American and didn't have cash yet. Tried Tim Hortons it was alright (coffee tasted just like Dunki... » Continue Reading
