Blackberry nostalgia

I got into this nostalgic mood recently and started to want to get into some of the old hobbies and music from when I was growing up and some old tech came into my mind. Seeing my old iPhone from way back when just reminded me of all the good ole days and I ended up turning it into a throwback iPod with all my old music. Well I stumbled on another one that really threw me back all the way was this $20 blackberry I found on eBay. It's a BlackBerry Classic so it's a little newer than the ones I was using (by this time most people were using iPhones or Androids anyways) but it's the same keyboard as the ones I remember and while the software is a little newer, typing this blog on SpaceHey, scrolling through FaceBook, and listening to music on YouTube just really through me back to 2010. Ahh simpler times. rawr XD Update: so I found out a lot of apps and websites don't really run well on legacy software and hardware like this (I'm honestly shocked SpaceHey, FaceBook, and YouTube run well on here) and I was also watching a couple of other BlackBerry's that were a little newer than the Classic I got a couple days ago. Well I ended up winning the auction on one for $35 and now I also have a BlackBerry KeyOne now lol. I think I'm gonna actually start using it as a semi unplugged phone to keep me in the loop with important things but also not allow myself to just doom scroll Instagram or TikTok. The keyboard isn't as good as the Classic's which is a little bit of a bummer but hey it at least works with the apps I need it to work with. Overall love going back to something with a physical keyboard for a change its such a nostalgic feeling typing out emails and blog posts on these like I used to over 10 years ago with my BlackBerry's.
