I'm slowly deleting my posts from X, because screw them. I got blocked from Facebook! I have no idea why! I decided to start blogging and news reblogging on Substack, here: https://ad49progressives.substack.com/ My bluesky is still there, but I don't really like it. IG is tiring, but I'm still there. TikTok is more fun, but becoming less so. » Continue Reading
In the last blog, I talked about PaperBackSwap, a website to swap books. There's another similar site called Listia , where you can sell books or anything else for "points", and then use those points to bid on other things on Listia. The two sites are similar in that the seller will generally pay for the shipping. Unlike PBS, Listia doesn't make "free shipping" mandatory, but the mark » Continue Reading
I just found out about this site, and I'm an instant fan. It's called Paper Back Swap , and it's been around a long time. The site works like this: you list books you have, and the site matches you with people who want the books. When the match is accepted, you send out the book, at your cost. It costs around $3. You get a cr » Continue Reading
I have some of these for sale on Ebay. They're mostly mid 2000s era. This link brings them up: dvds and cds . If you want them cheap, just HMU on this site. I normally have the buy-2-get-1-free on all DVDs, but I can make a small discount on that, as well. Shipping will be $3. What » Continue Reading
I'm old. I was on the original MySpace, so I am really enjoying this old-style experience here, but I feel like an old creep in a space full of young people. I often don't make a friend request because the person is so young. Also, to some degree, I don't really feel like interacting with too many people under 30, but... that's my ageism showing. Also, it may just be my thing. I sometimes didn't w... » Continue Reading

I don't watch much TV, but do buy and resell DVDs, and picked La Misma Luna up with a huge bundle of DVDs. I really enjoyed it. It's about this boy and his mom, who left Mexico to work in America, so he could have a better life. He was left behind in Mexico. His grandmother, his guardian, died, and he trekked up to Los Angeles to reunite with his mother. It got pretty good review on the various si... » Continue Reading
I'm a workaholic, even though I am not working at a regular job. Today, I just jammed through a bunch of tasks, and lost myself in them. It was a rush. It's also not good, because I was using it to avoid human contact, and kept me behind a screen most of the day. It feels exhausting, but good. That, in itself, is not good. Overworking shouldn't make me feel good. » Continue Reading
involve doing normal things, like going to hang out in a public place, being in an audience, or any kind of physical contact. I want to go to the library. It would be nice to just go eat in a restaurant. All these things are terrifying, because my circle is in poor health. » Continue Reading
I'm not really happy with how wrinkled I look. My face is sagging because I was pretty fat, morbidly obese, and I lost a lot of weight over the course of a year. It's looking craggy and flabby :) The side-light is so dramatic, though, and really makes it. » Continue Reading
