My dad and I go to a pub once a week to play games, have a drink, and get out of the house. We like card games, my dad ain't the biggest fan of board games, but it's just us, so he wants to try drafts and chess. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions for 2-player card games/board games? We currently play MtG, Final Fantasy, Chess, Drafts and Shithead (deck of normal cards). » Continue Reading
DATE:03/10/21. 20:01: It's a dark, cold night just like any other, the sky's pitch black with stars sparkling like scattered glitter, and the moon looks as if it was all but eaten with just a corner left behind, with the dullest of light shining. The night is colder than usual, and I can feel the goosebumps piercing through the skin under my jacket as the wind hits me with a force that almost knoc... » Continue Reading
So, currently I'm making a digital port. It's going good so far. The issue is, when I do projects or jobs, I don't always have my phone on me, so I have more things to write about than photos of them things as proof or visual aid. I'm currently just writing about what I've taken photos of, but it kinda sucks I can't write about the other projects I wanted to add to it. Like, for example, my dad an... » Continue Reading
So, I'm currently doing driving lessons (roughly 2 a month) and I've got my theory test for it booked (yay). The issue is, I'm terrified of reversing. I feel like I'm a lot closer to what's behind me than I actually am. And I high-key suck at studying, especially when I don't have like a person to beat (Think I'm a little competitive.) or someone to study with. I was going to study with Ben, but... » Continue Reading
One rainy miserable day in the middle of nowhere there was a dark mysterious manor, outside the manor there were five detectives: Sean, Fred, Nathen, Jessica and Rose. The detectives had been sent to the manor to investigate a series of murders and noise complaints that were reported by some hippies camping and some dog walkers. All the reports said they heard screams or laughter coming from a man... » Continue Reading
You ever seen those hoodies/jackets that are weighted for adults? (Not the vest ones.) Well, I thought instead of paying like 60 quid, I could make one with more than just the weighted part for around 40 quid, give or take. So! what I'm thinking I'll need (apart from money lol) is: 1. Jacket - Oversized for longer sleeves and a larger hood. 2. a Zip. 3. T » Continue Reading
Me and the father-man have decided, finally, that we're gonna do the house up a bit to make it nice and a bit more livavle. To do so, we went out today and brought a heat gun and scraper to strip the paint off the skirting and the door frames. It's effective, least harmful to the environment and to yourself, and it's fun. I had an interview today (Plumbing apprenticeship), so we decided I'll start... » Continue Reading
I recently went on site for a day, 07:30--16:30 on the 3rd. I went on-site with a company called Paveaways for a trial day as part of a Stage 2 interview process to hopefully try and secure an apprenticeship. I think it went well since I have done work experience with them before. The person I was teamed with that day was Barry (A bricklayer I've worked with before), so that was brilliant, haven't... » Continue Reading
