Any suggestions?

My dad and I go to a pub once a week to play games, have a drink, and get out of the house.

We like card games, my dad ain't the biggest fan of board games, but it's just us, so he wants to try drafts and chess.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions for 2-player card games/board games?

We currently play MtG, Final Fantasy, Chess, Drafts and Shithead (deck of normal cards).
