Driving lessons & Theory test.

So, I'm currently doing driving lessons (roughly 2 a month) and I've got my theory test for it booked (yay).

The issue is, I'm terrified of reversing. I feel like I'm a lot closer to what's behind me than I actually am. And I high-key suck at studying, especially when I don't have like a person to beat (Think I'm a little competitive.) or someone to study with.

I was going to study with Ben, but his is next week (Mine is in October), so he's basically done it all. He's super smart typa guy so he'll pass no worries. I couldn't study with him since I was doing these like group interviews for like fucking weeks.

I want to study roughly the start of next week (I want to do it after my next interview, though.)

I'd ask my sister since she's the smart one, but she's away camping and lives in Wales with a full-time job, so she ain't always easy to get a hold of lol

Anyway, does anyone know any study tricks they could share?

When it comes to driving, the best possible way to get better at driving, is driving. If you're nervous being behind the wheel, bring someone along who has a good deal of experience on the road, and have them help you drive down less busier streets.

To memorize laws and traffic signs, I'd recommend:
- Break whatever it is your studying, into small manageable sections that won't take over 30 minutes.
- Take detailed notes, defining technical terms, connecting pieces of information with other information that could aid in memorization.
- Make questions related to the section you worked on and quiz yourself at the end of the week on the questions you made for yourself for each section.
- Try helping out a friend that may be in the same course as you by teaching them the material.

Effective studying techniques and habits are largely trial-and-error, use what works best for you and adapt those tips to best suit your way of learning. Good luck!
