A Love Letter To Youth

Category: Writing and Poetry

In my senior year of high school, I entered a little poetry phase. It was a very bittersweet, emotionally charged time for me, so I used poetry to cope. In no way do I think this is some deep, profound poetry. I was a beginner, and on top of that, a little angsty and embarrassing, but like I wrote in my last blog post, this poetry is shitty, and I continue to shit on it, but I deeply cherish it. I... » Continue Reading

My Roman Empire || The First Girl Who Made Me Question My Sexuality

Category: Writing and Poetry

In no way do I think this is some deep philosophical poem; I wrote it after meeting a girl... There are millions of poems like that. Anyways, I don't write poetry anymore, and when I did was an amateur, so please do not come for me. Spacehey is a place where I don't want to care about what others think of me, and I want to be as true to me as possible, and that includes all the shitty poetry I wro... » Continue Reading

I don't use SpaceHey on mobile and here's why you shouldn't either

Category: SpaceHey

Of course there is nothing wrong with using SpaceHey on mobile, but I personally prefer not to, and here's why. It makes SpaceHey more exciting and interactive, not something you whip out in two seconds and scroll through. If I wanted that, I'd only stick to the social media apps on my phone. It becomes a ritual, something you think about throughout the day as you run errands or work. Wondering if... » Continue Reading

Anything For The Cart

Category: Books and Stories

College was such a weird time for me despite it being so short. I feel like I came across some of the weirdest individuals, ranging from manipulating chameleons and lowkey exhibitionists (yeah read that again). After moving back to Indiana I didn't have any access to weed. A tragedy indeed but I digress. One of my friends, we'll nickname sticky wanted to introduce me to one of his friends and invi... » Continue Reading

College Drop Out and Dull Domestication

Category: Life

Currently in my first semester of college, and I'm already gonna drop out. I've come to the realization that I'm not an academic, at least right now. I didn't wanna go to college, I didn't have a clue what I wanted to be, and I still don't. My parents pushed me to go, and they mean well, but it wasn't a smart move. I kept telling myself I'd find my passion in college, that I'd find myself,  but I ... » Continue Reading

Vinny <3

Category: Art and Photography

Around the beginning of last year, I started doodling this little cat guy and named him Vinny. I believe I first doodled him on a car window, and ever since, he's been lurking in the pages of my journals and notes. He means so much to me, and I wanna get him tattooed on my ankle. Some people would assume he's my shitty fursona, but no, he's a manifestation of me, and I'm a manifestation of him. He... » Continue Reading

Looksmaxxing Freak.

Category: Blogging

I just wrote a bulletin on this, and I'm so shocked and appalled by how this interaction went, I decided to make it a permanent blog. It's truly appalling that there are real people out there in the world who live with such a mindset as this. I didn't ask for my face to be dissected; he sent these out of the blue after we exchanged five texts. To outright tell someone their exact facial flaws and ... » Continue Reading

Camera Recomendations?

Category: Art and Photography

The fall weather has always inspired my creativity, and tis the season. I feel like I see so many photo ops, and I never have a good camera to get a decent pic. I've debated getting into photography before, But I didn't wanna feel like a stereotypical pretentious gay guy (Lowkey my biggest fear.) Anywho, I think I'm ready to start looking into it as a way to make life a bit more whimsical while ex... » Continue Reading

My Mom's A Witch

Category: Blogging

Growing up with a spiritual mother added a layer of whimsy that my siblings and I did not fully appreciate as kids. Want to climb a tree or take a branch? You gotta ask the tree first... Duh. Fireflies? Nah, those are fairies... obviously. A random dirty one-dollar flip-flop in the local Dollar General parking lot, "An angel must've lost its shoe." You hit an animal with your car, "Look up the spi... » Continue Reading

Denny

Category: Blogging

An interesting story my mom told me this morning. This morning, I had a really interesting conversation with my mother on spirituality in our family. We've had "witches" throughout our bloodline, and a strong tie to the "other side," or whatever you wanna call it.  Visits from deceased family members or a mysterious exhale down the neck are not crazy to experience. I've » Continue Reading

Elysian Fields

Category: Music

Elysian Fields has 53.6k monthly listeners and I think she deserves so much more bro. She released a new album last Friday "What the Thunder Said" You should definitely listen. My favorite album so far is "Queen of the Meadow" with my favorite songs being "Tides of the Moon", "Bayonne", and "Hearts Are Open Graves". I love her vibe so much and want her to grow even more. :) » Continue Reading
