Category: Games

my sims 2 playthrough so far i've been playing the sims 2, specifically with my favorite families, the brokes & the pleasants (with some guest appearances from the goths and the dreamers). strap in, here's a run down of what's gone on in my game so far. the broke family - setup the broke family is kind of "hard mode" for a townie family. from their bio: » Continue Reading

back pain my back has hurt for years. i'm not sure if it ever went away after 4 years ago when i noticed it, but i've noticed it even moreso than usual as of the beginning of this year. i've been to the doctor and gotten xrays im still waiting on, but my extensive googling leads me to believe it may be facet joint syndrome, something that worsens both with exercise & long bouts of sitting. -_- i h... » Continue Reading

i've gone grammys insane

Category: Blogging

in trying to prep my perfect grammys party so that everyone has fun, i tried to come up with the perfect bingo game. i spent hours crafting this and testing it. it should be fun, i hope it is. the squares are filled with potential winners, picked from the list of most nominated. this includes artists, people on the technical side (writers, producers, engineers, etc), and specific works like albums... » Continue Reading

slice of life and storytelling

Category: Writing and Poetry

i love slice of life stories. i don't think they get enough appreciation in western media, which is a shame. yesterday we watched saved!, a movie that i thought i hadn't seen but turns out, i'm pretty sure i have and it was a foundational piece of media for me - like if there was a curriculum designed around understanding me through media, this would be on there. i was so happy to watch it again, ... » Continue Reading
