My summary of my trip: I didn't really do anything else fun, just worked three twelves and then on Wednesday a half day and went to lunch with my team after. I was annoyed that our business partner didn't provide the staff they committed to in the contract so my team and I had to do a lot more than we expected and it was pretty disorganized. The rescue mission was great as always, we served around 200 people and one person had to be escorted out by police. I enjoyed greeting people and serving food to them. My favorite part is when someone has a special diet and we get to make them a special plate. We get the chance to give them some extra care and attention that way.
