What makes humans human and Ai not?
Category: Religion and Philosophy
I like to think and read about topics such as existentialism, human nature, what makes a human human and it's connection to the progression of technology from time to time. I have a few takes that I like to share. I played the video game detroid become human and really had some thoughts regarding the difference between humans and Ai - or rather some question for which I don't have (simple) answers... » Continue Reading

late night walks
Category: Life
I just wanted to go for a walk and have a smoke. I didn't really plan to go far, just my usual route. It was dark and I couldn't stay inside any longer, I've been inside all day, alone with my thoughts. I needed to move, to breathe some air. The air was cool but not as biting cold as it has been the days prior, so it almost seemed warm. Like a promise that summer would come eventually. I started w... » Continue Reading
dear diary
Category: Blogging
Sometimes I read through my old diary/journal entries. I don't write in it regularly by any means. Sometimes I don't write anything for over half a year. Every time I go back I expect to be weirded out or cringe at my past self (well, I guess sometimes that is the case) but mostly I feel this strange sense of proximity to myself. It feels like meeting my past self - someone who thinks just like me... » Continue Reading

I wish I would sparkle
Category: Blogging
When I wear an outfit that makes me feel really pretty, cool and chic and walk somewhere, anywhere, like I'm the most confident person out there, maybe even smoke a cigarette while I do so, I always think how disappointed someone would be, if they talked to me in that moment. I wish I could have a sparkling and interesting and obscure personality. Odd and off-putting, but in the way that makes yo... » Continue Reading

new year melancholy
Category: Blogging
I always get really melancholic on new years eve. I don't feel like celebrating or partying. I don't understand why I feel that way. I get really thoughtful and introspective. If I could I would rather sit on mountain somewhere far away from the others and see the fireworks on the horizon, like colorful fireflies. I would rather start the new year just with myself which is weird because usually I ... » Continue Reading

old friends
Category: Life
I met a friend today. We haven't seen each other in quite some time. We are at very different stages of our life's at the moment, even though we are the same age. We've know each other since first grade, it's been around thirteen years now. I feel old saying that I've known someone for over a decade. How close we were fluctuated over the years, but we were always friends who could easily talk to e... » Continue Reading

wizard tv channel
Category: Automotive
I really wish there was some sort of magic wizard TV channel. One where you could tune in and some random and maybe even mundane things are running, just in a wizard style (and fictional). Like the news, except they're talking about dragon attacks in the east, changes in prices for orbs and the winner of the broom riding championship. Cooking shows except it's potion brewing competitions. A show w... » Continue Reading

torn between technology and the rejection of such
Category: Web, HTML, Tech
My dad gave me his old smart watch, one of those that track your steps, heart beat and tell you the weather if you want. I set it up just for fun. Downloading the corresponding app felt like selling my soul and potential first born. Letting it access location, contacts and who knows what. The thing is, on one hand I hate technology like that. I'm willingly handing big companies all my data which ... » Continue Reading

watching wizard tv
Category: Blogging
Today while cleaning the kitchen I had videos from wizards_with_guns running on the TV as some sort of background noise. For context, it's formatted like those TV channels that promote different items for you to then buy in an online shop or similar. Except in those videos the "seller" advertises magic items. It kinda feels like watching interdimensional cabel from Rick and Morty. But for wizards.... » Continue Reading

back to the hills
Category: Blogging
It was a Sunday, one like every other. The skies were gray, the air cool and fresh. I should have studied and worked on uni assignments. But I didn't. Instead I was scrolling, watching videos of people going hiking, being outside, living. I was yearning to reconnect with nature, wanted » Continue Reading
