Ian Watkins, former singer and frontman of the band " Lostprophets ", has been killed in prison. Watkins was in the process of serving a 35-year prison term he was sentenced to in 2013. On August 22nd 2025, Iryna Zarutska was murdered on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee who fled the country in 2022.
