Now that I'm done editing my fan cut of a movie, back to blogging about TV shows. Again, taking a break from blogging about Kirby, I just got introduced to a new show yesterday and instantly fell in love with it. Ya Boy Kongming. Go ahead, click on that video. I dare you. That song will not leave your head. » Continue Reading
I've been taking a break from Kirby mainly because the next episode is going to be rough! I saw Turning Red. Such a cute movie. It's definitely more female and Chinese (or Chinese Canadian, but I don't think the Canadian part will cause Chinese Americans any issues) oriented movie. Glad to see Pixar doing more cultures. Plus, the movie is directed by a Chinese women. » Continue Reading
This is made using 3rd party Legends scale figures. Looks like they're mostly New Age. It's also not a 1 to 1 recreation. They actually made the fight scene much longer and added new music for the extended fight scenes. The new music is kind of distracting though. Still good though. » Continue Reading
I've been putting off talking about this episode mainly because it's boring. It's one of my least favorite episode. It's the second part of the new year episode, but this one is a clip show. Dedede demands that Nightmare send him some special service for new years. The salesman sends him some pillows. These pillows give people nightmares so they would turn against Kirby. Dedede gives them out to e... » Continue Reading
This is the first of 2 new years episodes for Kirby, and the better episode of the 2. The episode starts right off with Dedede ordering a monster from Nightmare, and he's given Sasuke, the fire cracker monster. We then find out the Pupupuland doesn't have any set tradition to celebrate new years, because a lot of the Cappies are from other countries and towns. Dedede shows up to announce that he's... » Continue Reading
This episode is something different. It's a spooky Halloween episode. Escargoon takes a picture of Dedede. When the photo develops, a ghost is seen in the photo next to Dedede. Dedede acts like he's not scared, but after consulting with the fortune teller, she warns of a ghost seeking revenge on Dedede tonight. All kinds of spooky things start happe » Continue Reading
This episode.... this episode is spicy! Tons of great jokes that'll have you laughing. The basic plot is that a famous chef is coming to Pupupu Village, and Dedede wants to impress him with his cooking (by his, I mean his castle's cooking). The chef is basically this show's Gordon Ramsey. His name is Oosaka in Japanese, and Shiitake in the » Continue Reading
I'm already quite a few episodes ahead, but the holidays kept me busy from updating. Episode 10 is all about Chief Borun (Chief Bookem). After falling asleep directing traffic and causing a traffic accident involving the only 2 cars in all of Pupupu Village, Dedede decides to get rid of Borun. When Bun (Tuff) hears about this, he wants to help prove to everyone that the town needs Borun. So he get... » Continue Reading
Holding back the Kirby content for a bit while I celebrate Chinese New Year. That said, Hasbro Pulse has finally gave us a peak at the Victory Saber boxart. I like it! » Continue Reading
I like these new Rebor Tyrannosaurus rex models! They look so good. I think I like Kiss more than Tusk. Kiss is the one with lips and red-ish color, and Tusk is the one without lips and a more orange-ish color. » Continue Reading
So I think I finally settled on a title for these blogs. Also, I'm shocked that I haven't updated in 3 days. I didn't want to jam too much Kirby stuff into my blogs, but I thought I only took a break for a day. But man, we have a lot to unpack in this episode. This is the Lololo and Lalala episode. These characters were originally from a game call The » Continue Reading
