I'm trying to do a one book a week thing (Might lighten the load if this is too much)so here are the five books I have picked out for this month!! I'll do another post for reviews and if I changed books. Book one: The History of Magic by Chris Gosden|| Already two chapters into this one, which doesn't sound like much but it's fitting 500 pgs into ten chapters so I'm already about 120 into it. Pret... » Continue Reading
I think because essay's are a predominately academic thing people forget you can just write them for fun on things that you know and like. I'm writing an essay on BBC Merlin. Why? I wanna. I want to research something I adore and send my friends a little paper about it. I think people forget how fun research can be when you're not required to do it for something you don't like. » Continue Reading
I just did the most satisfying closet clean out of my life. I reorganized all my art supplies and books and it felt so amazing to see my closet back in working order. It's been a project I haven't wanted to start for a minute now because of how bad it was. '-_-. I still have a lot to do for my New Years reset but at least that's off my to-do list and I can sleep easy tonight. » Continue Reading
I feel like one of my pet peeves is just when people claim that a story is from the protag's point of view and that's why *insert thing* happens when it was never implied or stated that the story was being told from the protag's point of view. Like most of the time, I'm going to assume a show is from the third person unless it shows in some manner that it is from a specific character's point of vi... » Continue Reading
Why do dreams always gotta remind you of all the things you shove to the back of your mind? It would be nice to catch a break from my subconcious thoughts hands. Because believe me, they have hands. » Continue Reading
I absolutely love that the handmaid's tale differs from other dystopia in that it's placed right at the beginning of it, rather than right at the end. The main character lived like us, thinks like us, she could be you. It adds to the horror and unsettling nature of the whole story. The "This could be you" effect extends beyong that though. It extends into the horror itself. The issues she talks ab... » Continue Reading
I am watching through supernatural right now and violently swinging between loving sam winchester and hating him. He's so good but so bad. I think he's just like me fr so that's why I am so conflicted. He makes a lot of the same mistakes I do, so I'm holding him by the shoulders going "ARGARGARGARG" The one thing that he does that I really don't agree with is how often he abandons dean like with t... » Continue Reading
Played Red Dead Redemption again last night. I realized I'm a living country song, dear lord. I only play that game to ride horse, kill thing, make food. It's shameful truly. I just love cowboy simulator far more than I love the story lmao, still haven't beaten it. I should probably look into a cowboy cozy game... Recommendations? » Continue Reading
HOLY COW GUYS WHAT WAS THAT?? HUHHHH??? okay so the ending had a lot of food for thought. Kinger having clear thoughts despite being in a bright area, caine "getting inside" Jaxs head to make him choose the right button?? Or was that real flashbacks?? Did Jax get in a car crash?? Thats why he doesn't want to leave? Or was Caine just controlling his mind? WHATS REAL ANYMORE?? Jax can curse now, god... » Continue Reading
