In a recent update to Firefox, a side panel and an AI assistant were introduced. It apparently annoyed the hell out of quite a few people, myself included. I had commented on something elsewhere the other day. German was the language. The topic was food. I had said, in German, that "I just ate some perogies and a sausage, and was too full to eat anything else". The translator being used there translated what I said in German. Since getting rid of Amazon, I bought an NVIDIA Shield, the tube-shaped one, just to see what the hype was about. It's not fancy. The only attachable thing was an SD card that could be inserted. The Amazon account I had is gone. I cancelled it right after I did a factory reset on the Cube I have. Now the Cube is an expensive paper weight since it needs to connect to Amazon to do basically anything other than turn on.
