Remind me to never do all my school work on the last day again

Category: School, College, University

Worked a bunch this week (and was busy saturday) so kinda forgot to do my work until today, AND I had to go to work today (for reference I went in at 10, got home at around 3) and instantly had to do my school work when I got to my room and it took me forever (not helped by me procrastinating :P), started at around 3:30 and took until like 9:30 to finish Granted I did well on what I did have to do... » Continue Reading

Something I DON'T miss about Japan

Category: Life

While there were so many things I love/loved about living in Japan (and I actually have a sizeable chance of going back next year too), there's one thing in particular that drove me crazy every time it happened. To set the stage, it's dusk/evening, I'm out walking, probably got some music or a vid playing, and then I see this big building that's got tons of flashy signs and lights on it, there's t... » Continue Reading

Need to add more flash stuff to my PSP

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

The title says it all, I need to add more flash animations to my PSP, I've had 6 I added a few months back, but there's a whole bunch more I wanna add (Egoraptor's stuff, Eddsworld, Bowser's Kingdom, etc. etc.), don't have a 100% defined list but I'll be both adding some personal favorites and the real "big" ones. The whole process for converting is that I get the SWF file directly from the site (... » Continue Reading

Being sick SUCKS

Category: Life

(Crossposted from my Dreamwidth ) Title mainly says it all, I got sick the other week (thanks to my parents, people need to learn to wear masks if they ever get sick) and it fucking sucks, haven't been sick in like 4 years and forgot how bad it was. Granted it was just a cold but it was bad initially, the first couple days you just lose the energy to do basically anything other than lie in » Continue Reading

I wish more people did stuff just for fun

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

(Crossposted from my Dreamwidth ) The title really says it, I wish more and more people would start making stuff just because it's fun instead of doing it to try and make money or to potentially get famous. Sites like YouTube have been ruined by that imo since it feels like most people make stuff to try and make money out of it, rather than just doing something because it's something that t » Continue Reading

Old sites are <table> hell

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

(crossposted from my Dreamwidth ) To explain what that title means, it feels like old websites (from like 2000-2004) are just a mess code-wise of , , , , etc. etc. instead of being more concise or finding a better way to get a similar visual look, it's all tables upon tables to get everything aligned in one big block basically. Admittedly though I'm not » Continue Reading

Massively updated my website

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Made a blog about it the other day showing it off when I initially made it but I massively expanded my website, I got the basic skeleton of it done, I'll have to get started on making custom graphics for it and adding the appropriate stuff to pages that don't have anything on them at the moment. https://bakartridges-site.neocities.org/ » Continue Reading

Finally made a website

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

https://bakartridges-site.neocities.org/ It's really basic rn but planning on massively expanding it, I wanna go for a grungy, mid-2000s look to it as my overall goal, something that looks either like this or this . It's probably gonna take a few months to get to that point, but I feel I » Continue Reading

One of my favorite things in music

Category: Music

Dunno if there's a name for this but I LOVE it when songs have a section where it's consecutive solos like there's a guitar solo, then a drum solo, then a bass solo (not necessarily in that order) for examples, Spoonman by Soundgarden (guitar solo -> drum solo -> bass solo), Metropolis Pt. 1 by Dream Theater (guitar solo -> drum solo -> bass solo -> guitar AND synth solo), Knights of Cydonia by Mu... » Continue Reading

Been obsessed with horror stuff the past few months

Category: Life

Title kinda says it all, I've been kinda obsessed with horror (or just generally creepy stuff) the past few months, mainly in terms of internet horror stuff and game related stuff (both indie horror games and fan stuff), something about it has just kinda captivated me the past few months. Though I'll say that I hate jumpscares, they're a cheap way to scare people, it's like going up behind someone... » Continue Reading

As for the songs that haven't changed: The Folk Implosion - Natural One Nine Inch Nails - Sunspots The Killers - All The Pretty Faces Styles of Beyond - Subculture Royksopp - So Easy And for th » Continue Reading
