I spent Saturday skating with the homie on a 'mini tour' through the city. I recently finished watching seasons 1 & 2 of Skins (UK) and I'm completely blown away by how good the show is. Everything from its endearing and relatable characters, to its absurdist comedy and often dreamlike filmmaking. And a terrific soundtrack on top of that. Drove to the coastal town of Astoria to get our nautical on. Ate a chicken sandwich n’ chowder at Moe’s, purused a few shops including a basement full of records ran by Elvis Presley, and very dense video store. Mischievous activities. Got in trouble for blasting Red Snappers on yuppie rooftops. Made our way to the streets, encountered some can-kicking tourists and gave them some of my spinners to set off, plus our fountains for show. 𧨠Random vehicle pulled up and handed us about $100 worth of spinners and motors (for free).
