Recollections of Saturday: A skate spot recently opened in the city. I met with a friend and worked on axle stalls on a tiny quarter-pipe. He brought his friend's dog for moral support.

After skating we went to Ming Lounge, a Chinese restaurant downtown. It's a cozy mazelike spot with dark red lighting. We discovered a room with mannequin heads.

After a couple drinks with char siu pork, we walked to the back of the restaurant for the Mormon Mincers show. I got scraped and bruised by the pit, then left the show with a lime t-shirt.
