I am done with the Dave Lizewski era of Kick-Ass since I just finished Kick-Ass 3 and this book is pretty good. It's a real step up from Kick-Ass 2 and is a bit more back to basics. I just got done reading Kick-Ass 2 and I think this book is alright. It's not bad and it's still enjoyable but it has a lot of flaws. I just finished reading Kick-Ass 2 Prelude: Hit-Girl and this comic is pretty good. The writing is a lot less edgy and juvenile compared to Kick-Ass. It dives a lot into Mindy's character about how her childhood with Big Daddy impacted her and how she struggles to just be a normal little girl because of it. I just finished reading Dexter Down Under and that was a good comic. It definitely felt a lot more grand and ambitious and it's definitely the most unique entry in the Dexter book universe. I just finished Marvel's Dexter and that comic was pretty alright. It wasn't as good as any of the books but it wasn't bad and I did enjoy it. Dalibor Talajic did great with the art and Mike Del Mundo absolutely killed it with the cover art. The covers for all of the issues are probably some of my all time favorite comic covers. I just finished reading Dexter Is Dead and I really liked this book. I thought it was a pretty good ending and for the most part this book was everything I wish Dexter Season 8 was and I can't see any ending of the TV universe topping this.
