Visiting my grandparents; its a slow, rainy, foggy day but i dont mind. I slept really well last night, we were travelling almost all day. It was really fun, the food was great and i spent most of the car ride listening to music. Ive been really into two bands lately: rotpit and leper colony We visited a market in nepal, it was alright; there actually wasnt too much to do but we bought a few purs... » Continue Reading

Thoughts on creature commandos
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities
I'm kinda late to the party but here are my thoughts: It's like guardians of the galaxy meets suicide squad, literally. James Gunn is the creator but it's like a sequel to the suicide squad. The characters are cool, they all have sad backstories, they don't shy away from showing how brutal they were, but they were done in ways that make sense and contribute to the development of the characters. I... » Continue Reading

why hating on dolphins is wrong
Category: Pets and Animals
I have observed a recent increase of people hating on dolphins, orca and other cetaceans. It’s easy to love baleen whales (mysticetes) as they are the epitome of ‘gentle giants’, feeding mainly on krill and spending their days drifting serenely from one ocean to another. » Continue Reading

Whale ancestor research: how we know what we know
Category: Pets and Animals
I watch a lot of whale videos. I have two videos from ben g Thomas on extinct and extant cetaceans downloaded on my phone at all times. Whenever anyone makes a video about archaeocetes (whale ancestors), they undoubtedly will reference Hans Thewissen’s book ‘the walking whales’. He’s the guy who discovered pakicetus, the oldest known whale ancestor. You know, the cri » Continue Reading

Hello! Been a while since i did a daily life blog post, here we go! So this will give y'all a general idea of how most of my days are. I started off at about 6:30. I roll out of bed and do a little yoga and 3 minutes of meditation w an app called medito. It is not as fancy as it sounds, it takes like maybe 10 minutes total. I find that doing just a little bit of light yoga in the morning prevents ... » Continue Reading
