diary 5: last day of semester 1

So we’ll start off with the last day of college before the diwali holidays: Got there early in case my profs had anything useful to say. They did not! Went to the canteen, my friends from the zoology department ordered some fries, pizza and dosa. It was p good, the pizza was meh. Piri piri fries always slap tho. I kept hopping from the table w my microbiology dept friends and zoology dept friends. I told them it I felt like it was the India-Pakistan partition lmao.

Then my microbio friends and I went to this spot that’s like known for food and stuff, but we actually went there to go to this Korean style photobooth. It wasn’t open yet, but I spotted a bookstore and suggested we go there. I bought a yotsuba manga. P good find I think. Apparently it won an osamu Tezuka award. I cant believe my bestf said she doesn’t know who osamu Tezuka is. Guess im winning the weeb off.

I had a lemon soda because it was HOT AS HELL. I thought it was a good deal for the price. P big cup for only 15 INR, which is 0.18 USD for reference. Loveee living in a country where food is good and cheap. I see so many racist comments about Indian food but hey, they’re the ones living in a country where ‘food deserts’ are normal. I was so shocked when I found out about that, like wym you literally cant find fresh fruits and vegetables at ur local store lol

Then we went to the photobooth. It was fun! My first thought was like what if someone w lice wore these hats. They were like noo don’t say that but like valid concern! I washed my hair very thoroughly after I got home. But it was very fun.

Headed home and packed my bag. I hate folding and keeping clothes away, was almost in tears lol

Journey to grandparents house went smoothly. No kids sitting behind me in the plane, thank god. I mean thank peer-reviewed studies.

I do NOT play about my sleepytime. I am always equipped w silicon earplugs (they are purple) and my we bare bears sleeping mask from miniso (would recommend! Comfortable and doesn’t make me break out or anything).
