So tomorrow is our towns pole fair. It happens once every 20 years - don't ask me where the last 20 have gone! We used to have a greasy pole we made everyone climb up. If you got to the top a cooked ham was yours. Health & Safety have sadly put a stop to that fuckery. Shame. I shall be at the old village for 6am to hear the proclamation.
