I fucking love Mari as a person and character. She's so sweet to Akilah on the plane when they first meet and instantly makes her feel safe. As much as I love yj S3 has been so...mid??? S1 and 2 were SO good w all the drama esp in the teen timeline and the characters are peak. I think the problem w s3 is the characters.
