Trump can still be President even if he loses the election.

Category: News and Politics

Well, it's been more than one month since Joe Biden announced he would not seek a second term as President of the United States. And since then, Vice President Kamala Harris has become the favorite to win and polls show her leading Donald Trump in several swing states and even gaining ground in Republican-led states like Texas and Florida. Of course, polls mean nothing in the end. Getting our asse... » Continue Reading

Neoconservatives caused the MAGA movement, even though they hate it.

Category: News and Politics

Okay, it's been almost two months since I posted anything on here again. So I think I need to bring up another essay on American politics. Most notably, why the neoconservatives are basically the same as the MAGAtards. For starters, let me explain that neoconservatism is a branch of American conservatism that began in the 1960s when many Democrats, who were actually Trotskyites, became dissatisfie... » Continue Reading

Yesterday may have been our last 4th of July

Category: News and Politics

Yesterday was the #4thofJuly, which is the day the United States declared it's independence from England and became it's own country. Sadly, it may have been our last after 248 years. On Monday, the Supreme Court declared that the President is pretty much above the law and has immunity for any official acts they may he committed while in office, essentially making him a king or dictator, which is ... » Continue Reading

Representation in media is fine, but it's gotta be done right.

Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

There's been a lot of discussion about representation of minority groups in the media lately. But the problem is, American media companies don't seem to know how to do it right. For example, Disney seems to think remaking their classic movies and race-swapping characters(like the remake of The Little Mermaid ) or adding a character who's gay for the sake of being gay makes a good story. It doesn't... » Continue Reading

Sorry I haven't posted on here in a long time.

Category: SpaceHey

Hello again, fellow SpaceHeyers. I apologize for not posting anything on here for almost 4(!) months. But, a lot has happened in that time. Most notably, my mother passing away in January and I've been really busy getting my affairs in order since then. I will actually be moving into a new house next week with my sister's family. After that, I'll try to post more on here then. » Continue Reading

Another weird American holiday- Groundhog Day

Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

Hey there, fellow SpaceHey-ers. I was going to post something last month, but I never got around to it. I had a family related emergency the past month, so I never got around to posting anything. I apologize for that. Anyway, I have some free time now, so I want to post a musing on another weird American holiday, which was yesterday, by the way- Groundhog Day. Although most of the world thinks it'... » Continue Reading

My New Year's Resolutions

Category: Life

Well, another year has come to an end. Although it was good for me personally, for much of the world, not so much. And unfortunately, things may not get better in 2024. Especially with the risk of a #Trumptatorship being pretty high. Hopefully, the American people will do what's right. Anyway, I have a couple of resolutions in 2024 that I hope to keep. One, is that I plan to post more blog entries... » Continue Reading

Thanksgiving is America's weirdest holiday.

Category: Food and Restaurants

Happy day before Thanksgiving, fellow SpaceHey-ers. For those who live outside the US and Canada, Thanksgiving is annual celebration at the end of the harvest season where you give thanks for the blessings of the harvest and of the proceeding year and is a time to be with your loved ones, though there are similarly named harvest festival holidays in other parts of the world. But I'll be talking ab... » Continue Reading

Bayonetta is wickedly fun.

Category: Games

Well, well. My first blog post in a while. And for once, it's not political. Anyway, I just finished playing the first #Bayonetta game for #NintendoSwitch, and I gotta say, it was wickedly fun. It was made back in 2009 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and has been ported to other systems, but it still holds up after all these years. The combat is a lot of fun, although I did have some trouble with the qui... » Continue Reading

The GOP is more or less DOA.

Category: News and Politics

Well, it's been a couple months since I posted anything on here. I decided to get back to it. Anyway, the GOP is killing itself slowly. And America will be better off for it. While I'm not a fan of the Democrats for obvious reasons, the Republicans are much worse since it's clear they pretty hate individual freedom. This goes against what the majority of Americans, including a lot of Republicans, ... » Continue Reading

California is a victim of its own success.

Category: News and Politics

Let's be honest. California, where I spent all my life until just two years ago, is a hot mess right now. A lot of people blame the left-wing policies for ruining the Golden State. While there is truth to that, the are other reasons for California's problems. The main reason being, in my opinion, is that they never expected to have as many people as they do now. California's transportation, water ... » Continue Reading
