Okay, the title may be a little misleading. The USA has been the world's #1 terrorist state since July 4, 1776. Hell, before that even. More like since 1492 when Columbus first came to this continent. But they never committed any terrorist acts with WMDs until 80 years ago today when the Enola Gay flown by war criminal Paul Tibbits and dropped the first atomic bomb used in warfare on the Japanese city of Hiroshima, killing at least 70,000 innocent people who had nothing to do with the war, mostly civilians, especially women and children. And of course, tens of thousands more died from injuries and radiation poisoning. Explain to me how killing babies helps win a war? And of course, three days later, the US did it's own version of the second plane hitting the other tower when they nuked Nagasaki, killing at least another 40,000 instantly. There was no need for the bombings to happen. Japan knew they were going to lose the war. In addition, the Russians planned to attack Japan in Manchuria the day of Hiroshima's destruction. Even the Emperor knew they were done as did several higher ups within the Japanese government. I find it hypocritical of the United States to tell other nations they cannot have weapons of mass destruction when we have more than any other country on Earth and are the only country to ever have used them in war. The truth is, the bombings were completely meaningless and they were only a show of force to the rest of the world, especially Joseph Stalin. As George H.W. Bush blunty pointed out when the Cold War ended in 1991, "The world will know that we say goes".
Of course, as horrific and evil as the atomic bombings were, let's not forget that just months before that, the US carried out firebombing raids on Japanese cities, which killed as many as 900,000 innocent civilians. The firebombing of Tokyo alone on March 9-10, 1945 killed more than 100,000 people and left more than a million people homeless. And this was intentional. Curtis LeMay, ordered a mock Japanese village built at was called the Dugway Proving Ground in Utah simply to perfect the use of incendiary bombing
tactics. After the houses, which were wood and paper were burned down, they were rebuilt again and again with direct intention of incinerating innocent people alive. The only German cities that suffered a similar fate were Hamburg and especially Dresden, which was compared to the atomic bombings of Japan. Oh, and Curtis LeMay was the running mate of segregationist George Wallace in his failed 1968 campaign for president.
While I am not going to excuse the actions committed by the Japanese and German militaries during World War II, there is no defending the murder of innocent women and children just so America can send the message that "We will rule the world, whether you like it or not". The US should apologize for the atomic bombings. I feel like there can not be true peace with Japan until we do.

I fully agree with you. The atomic bombing of Hiroshima, and the other atrocities you have mentioned, were war crimes every bit as horrific as anything the Nazi war criminals did. It was right that the Nazi war criminals were brought to trial but those who perpetrated war crimes for America should also have been tried and punished.
The United States' very existence is a crime and needs to be destroyed. It's not just because of Trump anymore. You should read Ward Churchill's "On the Justice of Roosting Chickens" in which he explains why the US deserved 9/11.

The United States is what is called an anti civilisation. An anti civilisation is a society that, while highly developed, conducts itself in a way that excludes it from being considered civilised. America so exactly fits that definition. My own personal experiences leave me in no doubt about that. (Only in America is it actually legal for a parent to have their own child kidnapped and abused and I doubt that any non American parents would do so anyway. If you want to know more it’s in my profile and elaborated upon in some of my blogs including my experience of being refused first aid for an injured knee).
The United States is built entirely on stolen land. Morally, and in line with international law,the land on which the United States is built belongs to the native American Indians. The hypocrisy of America is never more clear than in the early 1990s when America made such an issue about Iraq annexing Kuwait and going to war to liberate Kuwait. (This was actually well before my time but I know about it from my grandfather who fought in the gulf war).
Apparently afew years later America went back into Iraq and actually overthrew the Iraq government and installed a new government more to their liking. (If that’s not a violation of international law then someone please tell me what is).
