Graduation from CHHS

Hail to thee, Alma Mater, or whatever it goes like.

So. Yesterday was my official graduation from high school. I started and left the school system with the same five dollars for lunch to my name. I'm a picky eater, and by the time I got to high school Lunch had become free anyway. Which of course it should have been from the start, but hey, that's this stupid nation for ya.

I was nervous the whole ceremony. I mean it was emphasized how "dignified" and "formal" the event was. When it comes to text, I can certainly format using professional standards and dignified high class terms. In person though, my brain is still just a little too slow for that. Luckily I wasn't giving any speeches or performances, I unfortunately didn't even pass with honors. I also got scarily lost on the way out because we weren't allowed to have our phones (and if we did have them they'd be confiscated until tomorrow/Tuesday!). That didn't do well for my anxiety, but I found my Dad eventually. I also got two seals on my diploma for Fine Arts and World Language. (Visual Comp, Photography, and Graphic Design and French).

This week I'm trying to actually get back on a routine. I've been meaning to take my ADHD meds again, but I keep waking up so late that I'd practically be under the effects for a bit too long for my liking. Tomorrow though.

It's weird. I'll never really see those people again. Over 600 Students, and then a lot of staff to go along with them. Yet, I don't think I'll really see most of them again. I don't know how to feel about that.

I'll try to post more here, It just feels slightly less fun than it did when I started. Feeling more like an obligation. Sorry.

Wrap Up

So what did we learn? A lot of stuff. Yet oddly whenever asked the question I blank. I think I know how to translate vertices in 3D space using a formula? The computer does that for me though with cute little handles.

I learned some important people in the history of photography, but most of my knowledge lies in my sketchbook, hastily written down to get a grade.

I guess in the end, even if I thought it was easy, retaining it might not be so.
