2024 overall blog. part 1

It's been a while since a new blog came out. I do need to yap it out at some point, it's like so much happened since the last blog. Gah damn it's been many months ago since I released a mini blog showcasing "Dress To Impress" cosplays XDDD

Tbh I took too much time to finish up with this blog since I had to work on sticker n other goodie designs (I'll share at some point as a blog too) and I tried editing these blogs on my work breaks or after work (which is when I am mostly dead tired to do anything n skip editing blogs or drawing something).

I did in fact yap a little bit on bulletins tho. But those dissapear eventually :v

MORE TO THE POINT AND TOPIC

So this blog is like a recap of 2024. I'm posting it in 2025, but eh blogs take a while to make so yeh.

Let's reflect on 2024 n talk a bit about art, life experience, certain media, video games.

Yeah the blog is pretty large so I split it up to parts so maybe it wouldn't look too cluttered.

Art side of things.

So in 2024 I haven't had too much time to do art, like work can be exhausting and takin' up a lot of time of your days. I've done most of the art during art fight month. I also tried doing art in Roblox for fun too.

Here's a image of what I've worked on during this year (excluding a gamejam I participated in)

On January I made the Wubzilla fanart, the fella that had a community on Spacehey. Later on he became quite controversial so uhh I don't know how to feel about this art now.
June was artfight preparation so I did some refs and designed some images for artfight profile design.
July I did bunch of attacks, though didn't have enough time or energy to make even more lol
September and October I had some fun with Roblox in realistic spray and paint, it was like a cooler version of Drawpile where you can also use your virtual avatar while you draw XD
I also drew a ponysona on September.
November I have made designs for Enamel pins and got them manufactured, I'll start selling those pretty soon :D
And I drew a late Halloween pony art.
December I participated in a secret santa, so I drew a fella from some series that was requested. That was an illustration where I for sure had a bunch of things I don't draw usually.

Sometimes you can be unhappy with your own art, but that's just how it is, you wont always land a good drawing. You just have to push through n you'll cook up an amazing drawing. It's also nice to keep track of big mistakes (make notes on them) you've made n know what you should push on your future drawings.

Hopefully for future I will get to do more creative projects, make a bunch of sticker designs, pins, art printed on acrylics and turned into standees, pins, keychains (AAnd finally start selling them :v).

Life and experiences.

Bleh I hate how you have to sometimes manage your own time and energy. On a off day you might feel tired to do anything, so you'd probably end up having another nap just so you can do the task you want to. Just managing balance between the time you have in a day and how much energy you have left can be overwhelming.

Speaking of overwhelming, months can end up feeling overwhelming. October and December felt quite overwhelming for me, there's like bunch of releases for certain media (series), there's also steam next fests or steam sales, events for games, the holidays themselves, just so much crammed into one month and I do want to keep up with it though XDDD .

Since I do driving work I noticed that smh sports related items come in handy a lot. For example drink bottles that come with those (image below) type of caps are really quick to use compared to the regular ones. Sports (isotonic) drinks themselves come in handy too if you really need some energy.

The other thing that comes in handy are those bone conduction earbuds that let's you hear the surounding while you listen to music.

Also one cool thing about a driving job is that you get to see all the cities n villages decorate for certain holidays, and ho boy it is fun to look at all the unique decorations :v

In summer I got some new glasses and shades, it's been like 7 years since I had my old glasses. It's definitely an upgrade from old glasses, they look so cool! I use em for driving mostly, but it's also great for when I go on walks too, extra helpful for when it's dark out too.

Forgor to mention in 2024 dad brought in a calico kitten (yes now I have two calicos loool)
