2024 overall blog. part 4 (media, movies, series)

Alright for this part I'll just talk about the movies, series, internet videos/series I've watched (some not released in 2024).

This part it'll be hard to pinpoint what I watched in 2024, but I'll try my best finding/remembering what has been seen.

So here is a jumble mess of series /movies/media. There's more rambles than talking about the said media, but hey least I get to remember what I have watched xD.

Secret level - a series of one shot (some might continue the story on the next season (idk)) animations by different animators of different video games. Same creators of Love Death Robots. I haven't watched some episodes since they didn't look interesting. Some episodes that I liked and worth checking out: 1st episode (Dungeon and dragons), 3rd (New World)( it's quite silly and I liked the character development), 5th (Warhammer 40k) (holy shit this one went hard af tho), 9th (The Outer World), 10th (Mega Man), 12th (Spelunky: Tally) (holy moly the 3d/2d is impresive here!). Honestly I can't wait for other season that'll have Ghost of Tsushima! THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY HAVE A FORTNITE ONE SINCE THEY DO DOPE AF CINEMATICS.

The boy and the heron - Ok I already forgot what I've watched, it's been a while XD but yeah it's one of them Ghibli animated movies. Need to rewatch at some point lololol

Dan da dan - a really dope anime with super good cinematography and reference to cinema! Ayo I need more silly scronkly cat Turbo Granny content.

Beastars s3 p1 - Auhh my fav anime ever! More dark zootopia levels of world building :D... It's been a while since I read the manga, but there's definitely some differences and cut out content (that's just normal for anime). One of the episodes really hits you in the feels (auhh my heart, my soul). AND YES FINALLY WE GET TO SEE MELON IN ANIME ADAPTATION!! He looks a bit goofy, but I still loved it how he got animated and voiced! I'm really excited for the part 2 and really curious what they will change up on the ending (since the ending in manga was rushed I heard the anime will change it up).

Beetlejuice beetlejuice - this might be a cash grab, a bit of a ridiculous sequel, the story could of been improved if focused on a certain thing than just being all over the place. Still this was better than Joker 2 smh

Joker 2 - hands down worst thing I've watched that year. They could of went all big in the story, even could of done something cool with Harley (especially when she was all dressed cool af). They just killed off the Joker character cause he was too "EDGY".

The boys s4 - it was alright, tho maybe it's me but previous seasons were a bit more interesting. The twist on the end was pretty dope tho.

A series of unfortunate events (series) - this was a fun watch ngl

Delicious in dungeon - really great anime with good world building! If you love DnD you would love this too!

Nothing but trouble - a old movie, but it's quite hilarious one and a fun watch. Seeing all the ridiculous shi in the judge's house n family is wild :v

The amazing digital circus - there were couple of new episodes. I really loved Gummy Goo as a character in episode 2 (THO DAMN U KANE FOR THE ENDING) and yes let Pomni hug that gator. Episode 3 we got to know more about Kinger, very halloweeny episode. Episode 4 - fast food restaurant worker experience lmao. Also Pomni n Gummy Goo momment rly hit in the feels.

Kane Pixels backrooms - there were some found footage video and a world building type of vid explaining about the backrooms. Overall I love seeing Kane Pixel's take on the backrooms and just love fictional exploration type videos.

Helluva Boss - there were some season 2 episodes with some big shit happening at the last episodes.

Hasbin Hotel - well hell, it finally got released in 2024! It was a fun watch, musical parts were pretty catchy. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

Smiling friends season 2 - HELLZ YEAH more smiling friends! Season 1 was a bit better in my opinion, but I still loved seeing more of smiling friends, just the collabs n mixed media animations are super dope in this show! Zach n Michael bringing back the newgrounds humor into tv form is always awesome to see.

Uzumaki - anime adaptation of Junji Ito's Uzumaki, episode 1 delivers very detailed and amazing animation which can be desktop animated wallpaper worthy fr, soundtrack choice is also really great! For the rest of the series it went through production hell and delivered shittier animation compared to first episode. Just watch first episode n read the manga from there, that's all I can say.

Squid game season 2 part 1 - continues the story from 1st season and the characters are as always well written, gotta love that we get to see more of the salesman. Eitherways I'm looking forward to part 2 as well.
