So it's 2024, u see that dress to impress is gettin' all popular and what not. So I decide to check out the game! And that's how I get back into Roblox after a biig while. And hoo boy has there been people making amazing games on Roblox.

I have played roblox as a kid back from 2009 and stoped at around 2014 or so, I did check out roblox time to time after that, it didn't stick with me, but it was at 2024 where I started getting more into it.

All the items I got since 2009 the kid me was grinding for kinda payed off XDDD, I got premium for a bit to sell out a bunch of those items and I received a lot of Robux from it. I spent it on customization, some feature unlocks for some games (mostly dress to impress :v), and tried to invest on new limited items to resell later XD .

There have been a lot of features added since the old times I've played. The voice proximity chat + the avatar customization makes this kind of similar to VR chat.

There's some games that limit your avatar customization (you get restricted to using R6 roblox avatars) or use of voice chat, but I guess it's better that way for some games.

I'll be just sharing the games I've played on roblox and maybe a bit of my own avatar customizations.

The games

Impressively most of the games get a bunch of updates, some of them can get new game modes too, so it's definitely worth checking them out time to time!

BloxBurg - it's a game where you get to customize your house, do parties with friends, RP (if that's your thing lol) and grind on the jobs to get money for getting items/furniture.

What I did in this game was make a mini Roxane themed pizza plex, I'd still want to add a raceway outside of the mini pizzaplex. Yeah I had to grind a bunch on this game to make the mini pizza plex XDDD

It's CRAZY HOW I GOT A SCREENSHOT OF THE time where someone was building the fnaf 1 building on the other side of my mini pizza plex :vvv

Realistic Spray Paint & Donate - This one is my fav game on roblox to draw on, it's like drawpile except with saves you can load up and the world is your canvas, plus u can interact with everyone while being with your virtual avatar :D

Regretavator - it's the Roblox Elevator game, except with a bunch of different minigames, funny momments, whole lot of lore and an insane ammount of character npc dialogues. Of course you gotta survive in the elevator and the minigames, get bunch of ingame currency to get items that might help with survival.

Pressure - it's a game that is similar to the Roblox Doors, but it's underwater, you got to go through procedurally generated levels, avoid monsters, there's also bigger areas with bosses that you have to avoid and do certain objectives, there's a end game where you have to get the crystal. It was released not too long ago and it's a very impressively well made game! There are events n more updates time to time so it doesn't get old!

Dress to impress - a fashion game where you can compete with other players to make a outfit in a certain time limit that's based on the theme. There's also freemode if you just want to make outfits without any time pressure. There's more modes/events coming too, so that's something to look forward to. 

This game got popular and was something that got me into roblox again XD

Super Bomb Survival - just a fun game of bomb survival with many different abilities and many different bombs to avoid.

MIC UP 🔊 17+  ,    Neighbors 🔊 [17+]      ,     On Tap 17+ 🔊      ,   Poke Haven 🔊 17+   - these games are like a voice chat social hangout spots, this is where Roblox begins to feel like VR chat essentially. It's for chattin' with randoms, or just hangin' around, though not always a great experience since some ppl are assholes there.

Catalog Avatar Creator - it's essentially the spot where you can test out all of the roblox catalogue items before you buy them. A very good tip before you use this game to make original avatars is - you can get inspiration from going to other avatar games where there are bunch of premade avatars you can test out, and see what combinations works best! You also get to listen to bunch of lo-fi music while you customize XDDDD

But yeah I've spent a bunch of time on this place, it's fun to customize :D

I could list more games, but that'll be too much. There are so many well made games on roblox and it's always great to try em out! It definitely differs from the old roblox, but heck there's a game like RetroStudio if you want to experience the old roblox.

Events

There are also events in roblox, which essentially requires you to do certain objectives or play through different roblox games with different objectives to get a certain roblox cosmetic for free. Definitely a flashback to old roblox events. I tried the Halloween and Winter events. 

Halloween event was like a screenshot contest and you could also get avatar cosmetics from doing certain objectives in the event map. The event map was pretty cool though the screenshot thing is like a costume contest, but tbh ppl used it like a screenshot contest and it felt unfair in many ways.

Winter event was pretty great tbh, this one required you to play bunch of different roblox games and complete some objectives on them. Honestly some of the games and their objectives are quite hard D:  . You could unlock bunch of free cosmetics on this event too :D

Customization

The customization was pretty confusing for me in the begining, like how the hell would you navigate so many items and decide on combos. But once I tried outfits on some roblox outfit games, I started to understand how it all worked, I moved onto the previously mentioned Catalog avatar creator game to come up with my avatars.

First avatar I made for when I got more into roblox again.

This was my attempt at making a cool af Roxanne wolf, also the feet for the little unnoticable detail lmao

I tried to make some Friends vs Friends Racco inspired character, tho too bad there was no exact hair to make Racco replica XDD

My main character that is a bit inspired by my fursona Pirus. I made some computerized goth cat Jester with bowties. White n black is easiest to style since there's a big variety of items in those colors.

And yeah that's pretty much it.
