Alright I should of started writing this blog earlier but I was too busy with work n ARTFIGHT itself.

Anyways I need to remember whatever happened for the past 1 month :v

I'll try to optimize my images for the blogs going forward because I can't just put out blogs with images that load too long! Tho I'll lose quality, you can check my art (the finished one) on instagram! Sadly I doubt I'll optimize my old blogs so you'll have to bare with loading them up patiently. 

*CLEARS THROAT* HELLO MY FELLOW ARTFIGHTERS AND NON ARTFIGHTERS WE ARE SO BACK FOR MY SECOND YEAR OF ARTFIGHT!!!!!

Time to drop some bits n pieces that happened during Artfight:

• I've been preparing a bunch on the refs during June and a bit on my profile. There were two new characters - Pirus and Death. I've made Pirus ref before, but the Death character is new!
• I also updated one of my character's refs, as in my persona that you can see me use on spacehey n elsewhere lol, though it ain't completely finished I still need to finish it up another time - need to make the back reference and the zveihander reference.
• JULY 1st!!! ARTFIGHT TIME, There was still some time to prepare during the day in my time zone, so I completed my profile n some refs!
  
• New merch dropped during Artfight team announcement ! I ordered myself some last year Team werewolf n team vampire badges!

• My guesses for the teams were "Knights vs Dragons" or "Seafoam vs Stardust" and I guessed one thing right ! XDD
  So yeah the teams this year were Seafoam VS Stardust
• Also btw the team choices were shown during winter around 2023 so there were a lot of themes.
  
• The servers were broken during the 1st-2nd day, but they quickly got better. That's even greater than last year fr!
• I think I was more active in the artfight discord during June than July, had some funny convo momments here n there :v
• So the team I chose this year was team Seafoam! It's the second year the theme fits in with a Nelward's song XDDD and yes I made my profile themed around Nelward :vvv
• Speaking of my profile, I did customize it even more than last time ! The profile card, the dividers, the attack frames, all by me! The card and frame was of course inspired by the album Nelward "Alive in screen". The screenshot image of my profile will be waaay down bellow on the blog ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ .
• This tweet on twitter was hilarious, they are so real for this! 
  

  

• I have made a list on people I would of attacked, and I didn't quite follow it completely, tho I tried doing most of the people that was on the list. I've been prioritizing between the list, the revenges and just in general who I wanted to attack. I dunno the month felt quite chaotic for me for how busy n exhausting it was so I am quite unorganized with this shit.
• For next year I should go for my fav characters n then move onto doing revenges n maybe new people I haven't attacked.
  
• This year's artfight I didn't make any shitposts like last year. So that definitely lessened my attack count, but hey there's some quality content :v 
• Quick note, I am happy to see my art be put on someone's toyhouse character if I drew them, stare's at certain people that are reading this that haven't done it.
• During artfight there was a new trend goin' on, I dunno if I should call it a trend, maybe it's more of a organized group activity for artfight. It's called 💥💥💥Crayon bomb💥💥💥. Here's a quick explanation video of what that is -  https://www.tiktok.com/@actualpump/video/7382067843380301102 .
  So there were some members that got crayon bombed with like 100s of attacks and their ratio just obliterated or balanced out XD
  Also this is the first year that a crayon bomb happened!
  One of my Stardust friends joined in this group activity, they have been somewhat betrayed since there were two attacks on Stardust users, and 1 attack on a Seafoam user XDDD
• During this artfight I've seen bunch of people working on some crazy ah mass attacks, like bruh what is goin' ONN ?? - test tube mass attack, THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE MASS ATTACK??
• I wanted to make an attack where someone shoots two characters, and asked people on artfight discord who wants their character tortured/shot at and these people straight away replied XDDDDD like GO AHEAD TORTURE THEM, SHOOT EM! Sadly I didn't have enough time to make that attack, but hey this was still funny tho.
• Also if you want to gain attacks a tip is - be active on the artfight discord and respond to some people, they'll likely be there to take your characters to include in their mass attack ooor a single attack on u.
  
• I've noticed people don't really attack my female characters, except for one time where Parry_cups included the puppet with the mad puppeteer. Last year I had another female character, but I archived her this year since I need to do some redesigning on her.

• I've made a bunch of brushes during artfight reference prep. I haven't even released a brush pack from my previous artfight.... SOOO I FINALLY DID IT I UPLOADED MY DECORATION BRUSH PACK ON CLIP STUDIO PAINT, GO GRAB IT NOW, IT's FREE!!! https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=2105059
• Since I noticed I couldn't put out that many attacks during the times I was at home in my day offs, I decided to start doing traditional art attacks during my work breaks. That was really fun to revisit traditional art. I'd definitely recommend trying carrying a notebook n drawing tools incase u have some free time to draw during the travels or work break times.
  
• The tools I used for traditional art were pencils, ink pens. I colored my drawings with watercolor inks during the times I was at home, I added some white highlights with white pencils to the drawings. Also I put a sticker on one of my drawings for funz :v
  
• So I've made 7 attacks, I wont do any edits to my attacks this year like I did last year. They seem perfect as is :D
• There were some more attacks I've wanted to make but the time limits n energy to make stuff is pretty limiting. I had to speedrun the attacks n as a speedrun it went surprisingly decent. I did a bunch of thumbnail sketches of how my attacks would look like, one of the thumbnails in there weren't turned into an attack.
  

  

• Speaking of attacks I missed out on, here's these super cool characters I reaaaally wanted to make a drawing of. I included the names of the artists below.
  

  

• I had one attack that I wanted to color but I never did so it's essentially an unfinished not uploaded attack.
  

  

• The first attack on Mysterious Chum's character Cream Corn turned out really dope and I made my first speed paint ever! (it's on my instagram post) 
• A bit quite late in August we get results for teams and turns out Stardust wins! Congrats to Stardust! Even if this is my first lose, I'm glad I chose the team Seafoam for the Nelward reference XDD
  
• Along that - new merch dropped again! There are the Seafoam and Stardust (lucky Stardust, they have a glowing one) enamel pins :D and I got them too!
  Also here's a pic of how the enamel pins look of Seafoam, Stardust, Werewolf, Vampire.
