Scene easily has the worst gatekeeping I have ever seen in a subculture, and I've been in quite a few. I basically had to go cause I had $15 in hot cash that was gonna expire. I only got things at Hot Topic and Spencer's. I went into Macy's but couldn't find the clearance section so I left.
