Ages 5-7

These are some of the more blocked out years. I don't remember the first time my dad left, but I do remember the last. Dad was frequently in and out of our lives, and though no one said it, something about this felt more permanent. I was sitting on the floor at the end of the bed. I think I was crying. The earliest memory I can seem to reach was sometime between 3-4 years old. This would've had to have been in the apartment my parents had in Pendleton.
