I've just published my first YouTube video! A prototype showcase of my latest project, an APPLE-1 emulator.

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Hi everybody! :) I've just published an early look at my latest project, an APPLE-1 emulator I call  HoneyCrisp . HoneyCrisp strives to deliver a truly accurate experience of the APPLE-1 personal computer, and as I've stated in my previous blog posts, it does so by accurately emulating the hardware and the software of the first Apple Computer in under one megabyte! That said, I would be very grate... » Continue Reading

RELEASE: Logo patch for 2005 SpaceHey UserStyle by builderboy

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Hello everybody. Whipped something up real quick that may come of use to those of you who use the "2005 MySpace" userstyle from https://userstyles.world . :) It's a rather simple, but effective patch for the stated style, that replaces the broken (at least on Firefox)  SpaceHey logo with a high-resolution, working variant that  should  work site-wide...I've tested it on Firefox and it works wonder... » Continue Reading

Skipping through school by writting software.

Category: School, College, University

Y'know, people say that you should never use your talents for "bad" or for "evil"...in my case of programming, I've definitely done so before...lol. Prime example would be quite recent. I've been writing a translation software for the Apple II to help me skip Spanish 1...Yeah, I get it may be more work than actually learning the language, however, my classes are online. I can easily skip around an... » Continue Reading

Need website suggestions for a URL index I'm building.

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Hello everybody!  I've posted about wanting to create a search engine before, and so this post may sound a little bit redundant, but I would seriously love to get some input on what goes into the R&D of a custom search engine I'm looking into building. This engine will initially be similar to that of YAHOO! from the early 90s, when it was still a human-edited index of websites without crawlers...(... » Continue Reading

Plans for after I finish my APPLE-1 emulator, HoneyCrisp.

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Hi everybody. :) So after I finish my APPLE-1 emulator, HoneyCrisp, I have quite the extensive list of things I'd like to do next...Some of these things may get put on hold or whatever....as someone with both OCD and ADHD, things can be all over the map for myself quite often...especially when pertaining to projects I have on my to-do list and whatnot... I would definitely like to follow up HoneyC... » Continue Reading

What's your opinion on the newly announced iPhone 17 series?

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Hello everyone! :D  I would love to get y'alls opinions on the new iPhone 17, iPhone AIR, and iPhone 17 Pro. In my personal opinion, I believe that the Air will be a game changer for Apple...in the coming years especially. A lot of people have been joking about a possible "BendGate 2.0" situation similar to that of which happened with the iPhone 6 series back in 2014-2016...however, I believe that... » Continue Reading

Could SpaceHey use AJAX for dynamic content updates?

Category: SpaceHey

Alright, so hear me out...lol SpaceHey is a wonderful site. Very well built, very well executed. However, I noticed one small thing that may or may not have been considered by the SpaceHey development team. That "small thing" would happen to be the use of AJAX or similar technologies for content updating. (e.g., instant messaging, blog comments, posts from others, etc.) Currently, at least from my... » Continue Reading

DIY-ing every tech thing I possibly can...

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

There's one thing I absolutely hate about modern technology... You own nothing. Here in 2025, almost everything tech-related is subscription-based. Want a tool to help with grammar? Pay for it, again and again. You never actually own it. Want to unlock adva » Continue Reading

Emulating the APPLE-1: Apple Cassette Interface Emulation?

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

In my first blog post I had discussed my plans for the weekend. Those plans were primarily made up of working on my custom built APPLE-1 emulator. (that I've come to refer to in development as "HoneyCrisp"...)  I've got most of the original APPLE-1 hardware features nailed down, (shift register video system, MOS-6502 CPU @ 1.023 MHz, 4 KB of RAM, 1KB of ROM (for both Integer BASIC and WOZMON to be... » Continue Reading

Why I won't customize my profile page.

Category: SpaceHey

Y'know, even though I've been browsing SpaceHey for just a few minutes now, I realized something that's quite prevalent on this site. (And was supposedly the same on MySpace back in the day.) That "something" is user profile customization. I get that most probably don't give a rip as to why I'm not going to customize MINE, but I figure I might as well put the SpaceHey blog feature to use in some w... » Continue Reading

Plans for the weekend...

Category: Web, HTML, Tech

Okie Dokie. Hello World! :D  So, I'm quite new to SpaceHey. In fact, this is my first blog post on my profile lol. Don't think too many people will be interested in the junk I do and have going on, but what the heck.  Anyways, I have some plans for the weekend that are pretty cool! (at least imo) For the past several months I've been simmering on the idea of building a 1976 APPLE-1 emulator. In Au... » Continue Reading
