Skipping through school by writting software.

Y'know, people say that you should never use your talents for "bad" or for "evil"...in my case of programming, I've definitely done so before...lol. Prime example would be quite recent. I've been writing a translation software for the Apple II to help me skip Spanish 1...Yeah, I get it may be more work than actually learning the language, however, my classes are online. I can easily skip around and jump classes...(and view answers for god's sake)...and with my textbooks on hand, (yes, my curriculum uses textbooks w/ online classes) I can use the index of my Spanish 1 book to help me write the software.

I may not be learning much, but realistically, why would you learn something that you don't enjoy doing? I find that I'd rather be doing other things than, for example, learning Spanish. (And Duolingo exists...I can always actually LEARN it later...lol)

If I'm going to ever get into the software industry later in life, might as well write some tools for myself that can help me with things. Including passing classes. It gives me programming experience anyway. :P

BESIDES! SPANISH 1 IS HORRIBLY BORING. (yawn)
