Obsession blinds me

Category: Writing and Poetry

Don't get me wrong I love the way you speak, But seeing seeing your lips actually move is so fucking uncanny, the way you pull the muscles in your face to form phrases makes my skin crawl. I could watch you for hours.  How your body moves in reaction to what other people say and the need you feel to make gestures with your hands to get the point across more clearly. It makes me nauseous. » Continue Reading

while it is still there to enjoy.

Category: Writing and Poetry

Falling under sheets, praying that I've learned, another day at rest, I hope your not concerned, less mad and more apathetic, paints my mood for the week, baby you just dont get it, you're not the comfort that I seek, not the arms I hope for when I lay to rest, I prefer not to be touched when I take my final breath, not a note left behind, I have a legacy, not a loose string left to find, but a b » Continue Reading

Love is a metaphor (for all my flaws)

Category: Writing and Poetry

Loving as an action, as work, as a chore. I know how to show up but I can't do much more. I know to keep my heart clean, I know I have to open the door, I can't be bothered to start things, to me, loving is a chore. A constant reminder of my disconnection from faith, those around me who beg for more, I deflect the things so easily given, in time you'll find that my love leaves you waiting on empty... » Continue Reading

Inland waters

Category: Writing and Poetry

Staring, Through blanked out windows, Constantly waiting for that signal. Baby, You're alone! Let's make this fucked up house a home. Silence... is my go to motive, Crank my handle, Start the motion. You know, That I can't wait, Take me back to your house on our first date? Distance. Makes it real, Let me show you how I feel. We know, That ive got problems! Lets take this » Continue Reading

Its not what it was like but ill romantisize it anyways

Category: Writing and Poetry

I don't know baby, sometimes I want to pretend. That this isn't the world and the stares we get aren't from them. I want to will away about 10 years of technology so we can go to the mall in groups of ten and harass the local hottopic employees. It's less about the fashion and more about the friendship, sure kissing boys was more of a stage act, but at least the danger was worth it. I don't want t... » Continue Reading

Lavender affliction (he looks better on his knees)

Category: Writing and Poetry

Lavender affliction, it seeps into every man you know, God our story has to be fiction, with the way you manage to convince everyone with a simple "hello". Every word you speak is just another jagged performance piece, You know he will be at every show. Lavender affliction man, conversations only last long enough for you to get the seeds sown. ever thought of settling down? Maybe taking things slo... » Continue Reading

Atheistic

Category: Writing and Poetry

Christian boy, How I care not! You think God checks in the back of parking lots? You think the church will condem the way I feel. If it feels like breaking the rules, That's how you know its real. Waiting, waiting How you always are, My parents say youre atheistic in your heart. They don't like how you pray to me, How you stare at me and say "God will never know the temptation I see". Atheistic i » Continue Reading

Consider us moon loved and moon lit.

Category: Writing and Poetry

Consider it forever, consider it now, with death watching over us, we will take our final bow. With loves fated army walking hand in hand, forever together, in the last life's marching band. We play the notes only lovers know how, a perfect example in the lesson of here and now. She will use us as the example, when hopeless romantics plead, when fate decides to gamble, the moon knows which story t... » Continue Reading

How the worlds create themselves

Category: Writing and Poetry

Tell me my tea fortunes, I'll tell you the grass stained history, I'll make up stories about the starlight boy and his attraction to misery. I'll ramble on about heartbreak and the surprising effects of the fall. I'll tell you, over tea,  how the ash marked girl sits by the window and waits for your call. You'll hear about the turntables that spin in the wrong direction, The ones that gave the fir... » Continue Reading

Generations

Category: Writing and Poetry

You are a self fulfilling prophecy. An angel tearing off its wings, You lean too heavily, On the pillars of deceit. You wander paths of unfelt love, You give in too easily. Trust me here, Try to fly, Humor me. See the blood cover your future, We'll be in the past, laughing at the grief. Gold unearned, Guilt unfelt, We lived life with riches you'll never see. » Continue Reading

Its a touchy subject

Category: Writing and Poetry

I've walked hundreds of miles on hearts still beating, I see the passions of men, The very thought of love is often fleeting. Ever fear you will be important forever? Lost in the sea of attention,  the hands that can't see the end of never? I talk to the dead, They are often famous, Known for the words they said, their day to day was heinous. Imagine being touched in places that you didn't know of... » Continue Reading
