Transylvania - Malice Mizer (Translation)

This is how you start off an album. You talk about vampires, you twirl around in your best skirt, and you establish dominance as a result. I think this song was a grower for me, because when I first listened to it,  I distinctly remember thinking: "the f*ck is this?" And that's why I love Malice Mizer. 
* DISCLAIMER: As often happens, the written lyrics are different from the ones sung in the album recording. In particular, there are three paragraphs (highlighted in cursive, both in rōmaji and translation) that are written in the official lyrics, but completely absent in the album recording. The first two are spoken in the live version, as you can hear in Sans Retour Voyage "derniere" 〜encore une fois〜. The third is only written. 
However, in the album version, these paragraphs are replaced by lyrics in English, which are barely discernible to me; thankfully, I found a transliteration on The Lair of Madame Tarantula's blog. Since I want to include only transliterations and translations done by myself (unless specified otherwise), you can check it out directly in their post through the link above!
The lyrics of the chorus are also arranged differently in the written and sung versions, but in terms of meaning and interpretation, the written lyrics are clearer, so I decided to translate those directly.

"Drink from me and live forever"

Everything you whisper to gain possession of a new, endless world
Holds no meaning

Notes: this song is inspired by the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire, based on Anne's Rice novel from 1976. I guess this makes clear that, at least in the context of this song, our vampire protagonist is inspired by the character of Louis the Pointe du Lac, a man unhappy with life who is made into a vampire and later regrets it. In the context of what I still hope to be a Great Unified Malicious Lore, this probably combines with the fact that our mademoiselle is dead and he wants to have her back in one way or another (a theme that is quite clear in Syunikiss, for example, or even Seraph) but kinda hates having to kill people (Tsuioku no kakera). I don't even know anymore, tbfh.
Translation-wise, I don't have anything special to point out, except for the last two lines: in the sung version, these are interposed with the "Drink from me and live forever" line, but I thought that by translating them as they were, broken up, they lost their meaning. So, in the movie, a vampire offers Louis to transform him (an invitation, like "drink from me and live forever") and he accepts it as a remedy for his pain, etc. The last two lines could express that, in hindsight, the newly transformed vampire regrets it, and that any way to escape pain and "live forever" actually holds no meaning. Idk.
