Seraph - Malice Mizer (Translation)

Bonsoir my friends, we are back with this fantastic naughty little song which I've been listening to a lot lately. The fun thing is that the written lyrics are in such a silly order (not really, it makes sense in order to fit in the small booklet page, but still) that I didn't even put brackets, because it would have been confusing as hell. You can find the original lyrics in Japanese and the actual sung lyrics directly written down in rōmaji, with just a small substitution highlighted. To better understand the 'storyline', I translated the sung lyrics.
Thank you for reading and let me know what you think!

Seraph

(music: Közi / lyrics: Tetsu)

seraph serenade

Seraph

I look at the pictures scattered on the floor
And you, unchanged from that time, smile
I sink into your flowing, singing voice
And I, unchanged from that time, stand still

If the sky weren't blue
And my red heartbeat ceased
I could forget you, but...

Seraph serenade
You come to meet me and I take your hand

Now my silver wings overcome a long nightmare
Come to me, where I await you
Do as you please... come on, just kill me already
In your arms, where you await me

In this moment, the curtain falls by the hand of destiny, and I feel eternally grateful to the shining light [that envelops me]

If the night weren't black
And my red hearbeat ceased
I could have forgotten you, but...

Seraph serenade
Where are you going? Take me with you, I can't be alone
Seraph serenade
You come to meet me and I take your hand

Now my silver wings overcome a long nightmare
Come to me, where I await you
Do as you please... come on, just kill me already
In your arms, where you await me

In my chest, your warmth still lingers... and your figure dancing with angels...

Now my silver wings overcome a long nightmare
Come to me, where I await you
As I embrace this moment of reunion... come on, just kill me already.

Tetsu is so angsty... who ends a song with "Come on, just kill me already?" Hard relate.
It is translating these lyrics that I realised that I probably misinterpreted a line in the lyrics of Kioku to Sora and in the memoire booklet. To put it simply, I think that our "she" died, and it is Tetsu wondering if, when reuniting in heaven, she will want to kill him or not. Remember the "Koroshitai to omou darouka? Idakitai to omou darouka?" in Kioku to sora? Now I believe it should be translated as "Will YOU want to kill ME? Or will YOU want to embrace ME?". I'll go fix that in the other blog posts, but I will try to connect all the dots in the post for Baroque.
Another note: I wrote "[that envelops me]" because in the written lyrics it says "hikaru kagayaki no naka kansha suru" (roughly, "I am grateful inside the shining light" instead of "grateful to the shining light", as sung). It's a way to combine the two versions and create a clearer scene, I think.
Thank you for reading, and thanks Maiden Death for the code! The background is a painting called Regina Angelorum by William-Adolphe Bouguereau.
