I miss when payphones used to be on every street corner. If your phone was dead you could just drop in a quarter or call collect. I think that there should still be at least 1-2 working payphones in most towns especially for people who are unable to have access to a cellphone or places were there is minimal cell service. New PBX set up with rotary phones!

I now have my Panasonic KX-TD816 connected to the C*NET as well as my #5ESS line and my x link BT gateway! I have set it up so that you can dial 81 for the 5E line, 82 for the C*NET and 83 for my x link Gateway. A great trick to get multiple lines on one cable is to use RJ45 to RJ11 adapters that split the connection out into 4 connections.
