I miss payphones

I miss when payphones used to be on every street corner. If your phone was dead you could just drop in a quarter or call collect. I think that there should still be at least 1-2 working payphones in most towns especially for people who are unable to have access to a cellphone or places were there is minimal cell service. There are still a lot of parts of America were you do not get service from the big 3 cell carriers and unfortunately almost all of the payphones in those areas have been ripped out or are now non functional. I feel like towns and community centers should put at least some focus on that if not for courtesy phones.
