I decided to start my musical education journey by embracing the fun of randomness–random printout from my days of taking lessons and trying to learn jazz. The Dorian b2 scale. I have been a musician and guitarist for IDK... 30 years. I play in a reasonably successful original local band. I work pretty hard at it. Realized today that my writing has far out-paced my education. As in, I have written way more songs than I need and have neglected learning new things... songs, techniques, theory.
