I remember not very long ago at all, even after unleaded fuel ran up from $2.50 to $4.00 post lockdown, you'd see diesel maybe $2 more expensive than unleaded. This week they were the same price. I think a lot of things we do for convenience end up taking away from the experience. I've lived half of my life consuming media a certain way, and the other half doing it in modern ways. Going out to pick up a movie or CD from a store, vs streaming it all online. When I look back on this, I'm not really nostalgic, but I do find that back then things meant more to me than they do now.
