Screen protectors suck ass.

So I got forced to put a screen protector on my new phone, again, and immediately remembered why I stopped putting them on my previous phone. Of course I don't like the thought of getting permanent scratches on my shiny pristine smooth new screen, but are air bubbles any less annoying? Unfortunately, Smart Switch can't be done unless the screen on the original works. So I can't even port anything to my computer. Or turn it off. So I'm stuck with the alarm still working. I have a 128 GB alarm clock until further notice. I'm not giving up on my old phone, though. As established, all my stuff is still on it. I'll get the screen replaced someday, for now it will enjoy retirement in ... » Continue Reading

It's to this point where I am seriously mad at myself for not backing up my phone's files the MOMENT the screen got cracked. Good news is mom wasn't mad. I mean she wasn't happy that I broke an expensive phone but she didn't yell at me. We both realized that, as a Galaxy A42, it was getting up there in age anyway. I think about 4 years old? We'll be taking it to Asurion over the weekend and if it costs more than $150 to repair, we'll just bite the bullet and get a new phone.
