My husband slipped on the ice and broke his wrist real bad on March 4th. He had surgery on the 16th and is healing well. He got a nerve block in the shoulder and had a "fish" arm for about 12-24 hours afterward. He was in a lot of pain after it all wore off but has meds to help take the edge off. I am 5 weeks post op from having a total hip replacement. The pain i was enduring was excruciating but managed to keep my spirits up with only a few meltdowns.
