tips/links that helped me customize my page

hi friends and girlies that stumbled upon this post!

ps i am still unable to add images into my blog post so please bear with the wordiness for now

im a new account that is new to coding and the concept of myspace and spacehey. customizing ur page actually super easy<3 here are the links/tips that helped me:

1. you can find cool layouts on this page: https://layouts.spacehey.com/

follow the given instructions to apply those layouts

2. now that you've chosen a layout but want to change the colors, you can find the colors written in the code such as "pink" and change it to the color u want eg "purple"

colors can also be changed by replacing the codes that look like "#ffcdd2". tbh i didnt know what that was until i googled it and a color picker popped up

i change the color by sliding the little circles on the color picker to the color i want, copying the new color code, and pasting it onto the original color code

3. the pngs and gifs in the layout can be replaced too. once you've found the url to ur png or gif online (gif urls usually look like this: https://64.media.tumblr.com/90d14bc3c54a3daabd04bc8e61cc295a/tumblr_inline_n258ovpRe81qhwjx8.gif), replace the url of the original png/gif with it

4. you can add autoplay music to ur page with instructions on this page: https://blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=97599

5. you can add ur spotify playlist into the "music" section by going onto ur spotify app > the playlist u wanna add > the 3 dots > share > embed playlist

there you can customize the look and size of ur spotify embed and copy the embed link. next, go to spacehey > edit profile > music and paste ur embed link into the "music" box

6. the width of ur page can be customized with instructions on this page: https://blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=92870

7. everything on ur page can be resized. codes that look like 50px or height="352" are basically the size codes. change the number on the code to resize

8. to change the alignment of ur texts, you can follow the instructions on this page: https://blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=5758

bonus tip: same thing applies to blog layouts. just search "blog layout" on https://layouts.spacehey.com/
