Rules for the Tournament Battles

So, here I'm going to briefly go over the rules for matches! The 16 teams are put into 8 different matches at first. Then each of the winners will go on to the second round of 4 matches, then the semi-finals, then the final match! Each match will consist of me putting information about each character and team into an AI program called Novel AI. Then, I will add a prompt explaining the arena, and the match will begin! Each team of two will have to defeat the other two characters. A character is defeated if they are dealt 3 injuries (hit by attacks or taking reasonable damage), outright killed, pacified or lose their will to fight, or are taken out of the arena (out of bounds). Each time a character is "knocked out" or passed out, that counts as one injury, although characters that are knocked out can suffer additional injuries while being incapacitated. A character can take only 1 injury maximum per sentence if not killed outright. 

For example:  

AI text: John Doe punches Jane Doe, breaking her nose, and then slams her into the wall, knocking her out. 

That would be 2 injuries, but since there can be only 1 injury maximum per sentence, Jane suffers only 1 injury. 

To count as "pacified", the character must either be seduced, and openly state that they are in love with or in a relationship with an opposing character, or agree to stop fighting by saying so. Characters that trick other characters into stopping fighting but do not outright say that they have stopped fighting will not be eliminated, and will continue fighting.

If the AI generated story gets off topic, I will delete the off topic bits and continue with a prompt that gets the story back on track. I will however allow the AI to make random stuff happen, such as characters gaining abilities out of no where and summoning new characters to help them.

If your character(s) wins a round, they get to keep any abilities, weapons, or allies with them for the next rounds of the tournament. 

For example, if Goku randomly gets Steve Jobs to come and help him fight Batman, Steve Jobs will be added to the team and will have to be eliminated as well in later rounds for an opposing team to get a full Team Knock Out (TKO). 

I reserve the right to update these rules if I think there is something that needs to be added! Im doing this to be fair and make this fun for you all, so if there are any rules that seem particularly unfair just send me an IM and I will talk to you and possibly change it, or maybe call for a vote and see if other people want it changed to.
