Art Gallery PT.3 - Stripgenerator art

This is my art gallery blog used as another spot where I share my projects.

On this part of art gallery blog I'll be talking about the art I've made using the Stripgenerator website's engine.

About Stripgenerator

Stripgenerator was a comic making website, now it's basically a dead website.

The website had a comic making engine where you can use preset shapes and characters to make comic strips. Some people use it to make art and what not, even though it has it's own limitations like only relying on the shapes, characters, masking and limited colors instead of drawing.

I did also talk about it more on my blog "Ok, I haven't experienced Myspace, but there's other things that I have experienced in 2010s. Let's talk about the 2010s." . Yeah I know it's a long name :v

You can explore what Stripgenerator used to be like on https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/%20http://stripgenerator.com/

Or you can explore all the random strips from the past on Muppetauthor's website https://codepen.io/muppetauthor/full/bGozazr just press "random strip button" and go to next or previous strip.

If you want to experience a bit of Strip Generator there's an alternative website called "Comic Crafter", the comic making engine is somewhat similar, but with extra features. Go check it out!

Stripgenerator art I've done

Majority of these are pretty old art I've made. It's a nice look back at my past stuff. So whatever I'll show it's from 2011-2018ish. I did share some of this art on Instagram stories, though in this blog you get to see quite a bit more!

There's bunch of other things I've posted on SG that makes me cringe really hard and get concerned thinking about it.

Spy fr. I forgot to put the connector behind the battery in this lol

Whole body of my OC, kind of like a reference.

Portrait type of art on the OC.

Made this one for a Gaia online friend.

Spacemarine from WH 40k.

A bunch of Portal art.

This Christmas art done for school.

A bunch of art of Caelis the Celestial Fox, he was just Celestial Fox back then and was based around Renamon and bunch of game characters. I used him like a fursona back then.

A cool OC I've been making that was related to a Minecraft world I've been making. I didn't finish it, but it's still pretty cool! Maybe I should revisit this design hahah. I was really inspired by Darksiders back then. Gah damn I still love whatever Joe Madueira makes, truly amazing!

Another art for a friend. They wanted a anime bunny as a NCR ranger from Fallout.

This one's a fun FNAF art of Foxy.

This one took a shit ton of time. Thought of making this since the MLP episode with flutterbat got released at same time as the new Castlevania game during that time. The Stripgenerator engine kind of glitches when there's just too many elements in the piece. The horse face I drew wasn't that great lmao, I should of just made bandaged chest or something XD.

NMS art.

NMS art collab with El_Ceviche, they make awesome spaceships on SG, so they made a freighter in the back.

Samurai Jack tytle screen

Art of El_Ceviche's Noctopus OC.

Comics made on SG

These are some comics I made during SG. There'll be a bunch of spelling errors n grammar errors on these.

This one is a comic I didn't continue on. The real Lordelot. There are some parts that I reused/recycled for a project I am world building on for when I might return to comic making medium.

Some silly casual comics made for SG. It's my SG persona back in the day. There's a bunch of comics made during the time I wanted to get featured artist for the first time which required getting voted for featured artist and making bunch of strips each day for a week.

Hoo boi it did die fr.

Here's the Noctopi competition comic. It's pretty sick ngl.

Here's a comic that's part of a collaborative comic game.

End.

So yeah. That's pretty much it. I've left some sort of a mark on SG on itself by having certain OCs of mine being used on other people's content there. Tho the strips from that website you could probably only stumble on Muppetauthor's website or the waybackmachine archives.
