My Opinion on the 2019 Little Women Adaptation

The costumes and hair were both inaccurate for the period and inaccurate for the girls themselves. Not only that, a lot of the things they wore and did regarding their clothes were wildly inappropriate for the time period. The hair drives me absolutely insane, as it does in a few other versions. June Allyson as Jo is amazing, Margaret O’Brien as Beth is wonderful, and Peter Lawford is much too old for Laurie however other than that he is fine. Janet Leigh is good for Meg and Mary Astor as Marmee is fine but unmemorable.
