I don't know if this makes any sense, but I feel like loneliness in life can be prevented a bit at least by kids having friends, real friends not people who they hang around with just to not be lonely, though I understand it's easy to cling on to others even if one, both or all parties dislike each other for the sake of getting social interaction.
